NetGalaxy Foundation

The NetGalaxy Foundation is the organization that ensures the unity, sustainable development, and long-term coordination of the NetGalaxy® project. It establishes the shared organizational, methodological, technological, and legal framework within which community clubs, working groups, and other project structures can collaborate based on unified standards.

Unlike traditional centralized organizations, the foundation does not manage the activities of community clubs or make decisions on their behalf. Each club is an independent local organization that structures its work according to the needs of the region it represents. The foundation's role is to create conditions for effective interaction among all participants, maintain the shared project infrastructure, and guarantee compatibility between individual initiatives.

Why a Foundation Is Necessary

Every project begins with an idea created by one or more authors. Along with it emerge copyrights, trademarks, documentation, software, and other intellectual property objects. While the project is small, its management can be handled by the authors themselves. However, as it grows, the need arises for an independent organization to ensure its long-term development, regardless of the personal circumstances of individual people.

This is precisely why the foundation form was chosen for the NetGalaxy® project. It has no owners or shareholders and exists solely to achieve the purposes for which it was established. Its property and resources cannot be used for personal gain; instead, they must serve exclusively for the development, protection, and coordination of the project.

This organizational form allows the foundation to legally manage the shared resources of the project, enter into contracts, receive donations and funding, organize international cooperation, grant licenses to operate as NetGalaxy® community clubs, and coordinate the development of the entire system in accordance with its core principles.

Core Functions

The core functions of the NetGalaxy Foundation are:

• Organizing and supporting the work of the Author and the Author Collective, who create, verify, correct, update, and officially approve projects from the NetGalaxy® Projects package for practical implementation within the NetGalaxy® Network;

• Maintaining, publishing, and administering the official documentation, established standards, and licenses of the NetGalaxy® project;

• Registering formal and informal organizations as NetGalaxy® community clubs and granting licenses for their operations within the project system;

• Coordinating interaction between community clubs, national diasporas, and other structures of the project;

• Developing, maintaining, and administering the NetGalaxy® Network technological platform;

• Protecting and managing the rights granted to it regarding trademarks, patents, copyrights, licenses, and other shared assets of the project;

• Supporting the international development of the project and cooperation with international organizations, academic institutions, and partners;

• Providing organizational, methodological, and administrative support for the activities of community clubs and national diasporas.

Main Structure

The NetGalaxy Foundation has its own leadership and internal organizational structure that ensures the development, coordination, and maintenance of the NetGalaxy® project. As the project grows, the structure may expand, but its core elements remain unchanged:

Leadership

The leadership manages the activities of the foundation, organizes the fulfillment of its objectives, and represents the foundation before state institutions, international organizations, and partners.

Author Collective

The Author Collective is a specialized creative unit of the foundation that develops the projects within the NetGalaxy® Projects package. The author of the project and invited specialists from various fields of science, technology, economics, and social development participate in its work.

The primary tasks of the Author Collective are the creation, verification, correction, updating, and refinement of projects within the NetGalaxy® Projects package. The publication of a project for implementation within the NetGalaxy® Network is permitted only with the authorization of the Author Collective. Implementers are required to execute the project in strict accordance with the approved documentation, and any change, addition, or deviation from it is permitted only after prior authorization from the respective authors.

Departments

Departments coordinate the main directions of the foundation's activities. The "National Diasporas" Department and the Language Department hold key significance for the international development of the project, as the bulk of the foundation's organizational activity is concentrated within them.

The "National Diasporas" Department coordinates the work of all national diasporas within the NetGalaxy® system. Each national diaspora has its own internal structure within the foundation, which works with its respective community clubs. It supports their development by providing information and methodological assistance, organizes the process of their integration into the project system, ensures communication between the foundation and community clubs in the national language, and monitors compliance with established standards.

The Language Department organizes the translation, linguistic editing, and publication of project documentation in different languages. It ensures the identical content and meaning across all language versions of the documents and assists national diasporas with any questions regarding translation and interpretation of the documentation. This prevents the duplication of translation efforts across individual national diasporas.

Technical Departments

Technical departments develop, deploy, and maintain the specialized technologies, information systems, and technical infrastructure used for the project's implementation.

Services

Services are specialized structural units that perform auxiliary functions necessary for the normal operation of the foundation. They provide administrative, organizational, technical, informational, logistical, and other support for the foundation's activities.

Role of the Foundation

The NetGalaxy Foundation is the organizational center that ensures the sustainable development, coordination, and protection of the NetGalaxy® project. It does not create the projects themselves, but rather establishes the conditions for their official publication, release for implementation, deployment, and practical application.

Through its structure, the foundation connects the author and the author collective, national diasporas, community clubs, and other organizational units into a unified system of cooperation. In this way, NetGalaxy® projects can be implemented simultaneously across different countries while respecting shared organizational, methodological, and technological standards.

The primary task of the foundation is to preserve the unity of the project, protect its common interests, and create conditions so that every successful local implementation contributes to the development of the entire system.
