Conceptual Project «NetGalaxy Club»

1. Purpose

NetGalaxy Club is a project within the NetGalaxy® Network group, intended to create a unified digital environment for the management and coordination of community organizations within the NetGalaxy® ecosystem.

The platform will integrate into a single system the organization's public presentation, internal communication, participant management, project management, meeting organization, decision-making processes, and administrative management.

The first implementation of the platform will be the model website of a NetGalaxy® Community Club, which will subsequently serve as the foundation for all future club websites.

2. Main Concept

Instead of requiring each organization to use multiple independent systems for its website, forum, video conferencing, document management, and administrative activities, NetGalaxy Club will combine all these functions into a single integrated platform.

All subsystems will use a unified identity, a common organizational structure, and a shared access rights management model.

3. Organization Types

The platform will be designed so that the same software core can support different organizational models by changing configuration settings and terminology.

Profiles will be provided for:

  • community clubs;
  • the NetGalaxy Foundation;
  • academies;
  • working groups;
  • project organizations;
  • representative offices;
  • other organizational structures.
4. Main Subsystems

The platform will include:

  • public website;
  • personal account;
  • administrative control panel;
  • forum;
  • video conferencing system;
  • meeting management system;
  • electronic voting system;
  • project management;
  • task management;
  • document management;
  • calendar;
  • notifications;
  • archive.

All subsystems will operate as parts of a single integrated environment.

5. Unified Identity

Each participant will have a single user profile.

This profile will define:

  • roles;
  • statuses;
  • membership;
  • participation in working groups;
  • organizational positions;
  • access rights;
  • eligibility to participate in meetings;
  • voting rights.
6. Organizational Model

The platform will use the common concept of an “organizational unit”.

Depending on the selected organizational profile, an organizational unit may represent:

  • a club;
  • a department;
  • a commission;
  • a directorate;
  • a working group;
  • a project team;
  • an authorial collective;
  • a council;
  • a representative office;
  • an office.

In this way, the same software platform will be able to support different organizational models without requiring changes to the program code.

7. Forum

The forum will be a separate, yet fully integrated subsystem.

It will provide:

  • public discussions;
  • thematic sections;
  • project forums;
  • working groups;
  • polls;
  • moderation;
  • archive.

User profiles will be shared between the forum and all other subsystems of the platform.

8. Meetings and Video Conferences

The platform will support the organization and conduct of:

  • meetings;
  • public discussions;
  • meetings of governing bodies;
  • working meetings;
  • training sessions;
  • presentations.

Official meetings will be able to use:

  • agenda;
  • participant registration;
  • quorum verification;
  • proposals;
  • discussions;
  • open or secret voting;
  • automatic generation of meeting minutes.
9. Project Management

The system will support:

  • projects;
  • project phases;
  • tasks;
  • assignees;
  • deadlines;
  • documents;
  • reports;
  • results.
10. Modular Architecture

Each component will be implemented as an independent module.

This will allow:

  • gradual development;
  • adding new functionality;
  • deployment of only the required modules;
  • use of the platform by different types of organizations.
11. Development

The platform will be developed as part of NetGalaxy CP.

Development will take place on a dedicated virtual server created on D1 through the NetGalaxy CP virtual server management system.

Before development begins, the module for creating and managing virtual servers will be completed.

12. Long-Term Goal

NetGalaxy Club is intended to become a universal organizational platform for all structures within the NetGalaxy® ecosystem. As the project evolves, new functional modules, organizational profiles, and integration tools with the other projects of the NetGalaxy® Network group will be added.
