Joining a Working Group

A working group is a specialized team established by a community club to implement a specific project from the NetGalaxy® Projects package.

A working group is created by a decision of the club members. This process consists of two main phases — a depersonalized preparatory stage and a final vote on positions:

I. Preparatory Stage (Depersonalized)

Before any voting takes place, the project is reviewed strictly on a conceptual and expert level, without discussing specific individuals for any positions:

1. Detailed familiarization with the project and the benefits of its implementation for the club members;
2. Discussion of implementation possibilities and evaluation of the necessary resources (human, material, and financial);
3. Refining the provided master template project into a concrete technical project tailored to the specific area and location;
4. Determining all necessary positions and roles (including leadership), their precise rights, responsibilities, and compensation packages;
5. Formulating a detailed implementation plan (deadlines, stages, reporting);
6. Announcing positions and collecting candidacies – anyone who wishes and believes they possess the required qualities may apply for a specific position by submitting a written declaration of capabilities and their vision for handling the tasks.

II. Voting Stage (Selection of Plan and Individuals)

Only after all candidacies have been publicly presented is a general vote held. During the vote, club members:

• Approve the final implementation plan;

• Elect specific individuals for each role and leadership position within the working group, evaluating solely their qualifications and presented declarations of capabilities.

Following the approval of the plan and the election of the team, the project is sent to the NetGalaxy Foundation to obtain the approved organizational, technical, material, and financial resources.

Working Principles and Tasks of the Working Group

The working group utilizes the organizational, technical, and informational resources of the community club that established it. Thanks to the specialized NetGalaxy® Network system, the working group can also include participants from other clubs, allowing them to work within a shared information space and collaborate effectively from a distance.

Each elected participant in the working group assumes personal responsibility for the execution of their task. Within the NetGalaxy® system, there is no such concept as "resignation" — in the event of non-performance, misconduct, or abuse, the responsible individual is subject to immediate replacement.

The activities of the working group are focused on:

1. Preparing and coordinating ongoing tasks according to the implementation plan;
2. Officially establishing the legal entity that will serve as the actual executor of the project;
3. Facilitating the transition from working group participation to actual appointment to the respective position or role within the newly established legal entity (in accordance with the preliminary agreement).

For club members who have limited experience in project development or do not know how they are created and implemented, NetGalaxy® Academy organizes regular specialized business courses focused specifically on projects branded with the NetGalaxy® mark. It is important to note that all projects under this brand are developed and managed according to the same unified standard. Thanks to this unique standardization, upon successful completion of the course, the trained individual acquires universal skills to confidently join and manage any other project from the NetGalaxy® Projects package.
